The TEH TH9517 is a professional-grade 1700W SDS-Max demolition hammer built for the most demanding breaking, chipping, and demolition tasks on construction sites and renovation projects. Delivering 45 joules of impact energy at 2000 BPM from a powerful 7.7 amp motor, it makes light work of breaking concrete slabs, removing floor tiles, chipping brickwork, trenching, and any heavy demolition task where a standard rotary hammer drill simply isn't powerful enough.
The SDS-Max chuck accepts all standard SDS-Max chisels and demolition tools — the professional standard for heavy-duty breaking work — and the special D-shape handle is engineered to absorb vibration and reduce muscle fatigue during extended use.
WHY SDS-MAX OVER SDS-PLUS: SDS-Max is the professional heavy-duty standard — the shank is larger and locks more securely than SDS-Plus, handles higher impact energy without slipping, and accepts bigger, heavier chisels for more aggressive breaking work. If you're breaking concrete floors, removing large areas of tile, or doing serious demolition work, SDS-Max is the right tool.
45 JOULES — WHAT IT MEANS: Impact energy (joules) is the most important spec for a demolition hammer — it tells you how hard each blow hits the material. At 45 joules, the TH9517 delivers serious breaking power suitable for reinforced concrete, dense blockwork, and hard floor tiles. This is professional-grade impact energy — not a light-duty chipping tool.
